About the Conference
We are pleased to announce the 3rd NextGen Wood Conference in Edmonton, Alberta—an event that brings together researchers, industry leaders, and professionals from across the wood construction, engineering, and building science sectors.
This conference will showcase the latest innovations and research in wood science and sustainable construction, with a strong focus on practical applications, future developments, and collaboration between academia, industry, and government partners.
The 2026 edition will feature an evening reception, two full days of technical sessions, and an in-person workshop dedicated to Theme 3: Building Envelope and Energy Performance.
