By Mr. Derek Autenrieth (DowelLam)
SEMINAR OVERVIEW
Dowel-Laminated Timber (DLT) is an emerging mass timber system increasingly used in modern wood construction.
This seminar introduces the core principles of DLT, its fabrication process, and key performance characteristics.
Mr. Autenrieth will discuss the origins of DLT, system advantages, acoustic innovations, and lessons learned from
recent North American projects. The session provides practical insight into where DLT fits within the broader
mass timber landscape and how design teams can integrate it into high-performance building systems.
